New Plant Information Sheets

Presented by The Friends of the Wild Flower Garden

The following thumbnails lead to new information sheets that have recently been added to our website. Most of these plants are represented in the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden or were historically present. A few others are provided that are native to North America and can be grown in Minnesota or were introduced to the State but are plants not represented in the Garden.
Nomenclature has changed over the last 100 years from that which the early curators (Eloise Butler and Martha Crone) used and we have provided the more current classification as used by the major listings in use today, particularly Flora of North America (Ref.#W7), and in Minnesota the Checklist of the Vascular Flora of Minnesota (Ref.#W4).

Click on the plant name to bring up an information sheet with plant information and photos. Plants are listed in Scientific Name order.
